WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM A FULL CUSTOM SESSION

What is the best way to contact you?

I am available via phone, email, or text. You can always reach out to me directly at any time.

However the best way to start our conversation is for you to complete a questionnaire and/or the contact form. Click on the button on the contact tab. This gives me some information to kick off our conversation.

What is included with my session?

A full custom session fee only covers the session and planning. No photos are included. Photos must be purchased separately in either packages or a la carte.

How do I book a full session?

Having a photoshoot is not transactional. It's a personal relationship between you and your photographer. With everyone claiming to be a professional, you have to ensure what you are investing in will provide you with quality, archival images to last for generations.

Part of this is to start with a consultation. I ensure that we have a conversation to talk through my services and your expectations.

Once you are ready to move forward, we will sign a contract and you will pay the retainer to secure your date.

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

Absolutely! Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, we're open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.

However, I also have my own studio that we can use. This place is private and makes it easy to have a session year-round.

How long does a typical photo session last?

The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the project. Portrait sessions typically range from 1 to 2 hours. A newborn session is up to 4 hours as we will take our time and let the little one lead how the session goes. I like to take my time because the more relaxed you are, the better the photos end up being.

What happens between the time I book and the date of the session?

We will work together to take your vision and build the design. We will discuss wardrobe and location to create your dream images. We can review all of the available clothing from the client closet, discuss backdrops, and props.

Once you book, I will send you files to start planning your session. We will work on clothing choices, locations, all the things that will make your session magical!

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or using my studio. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I'm flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

After our photoshoot together, I will create a gallery of images for us to review together in your home. I will bring my samples to you with your images for your selection. We will review different products and plan wall art and albums for your images. This process depends on your scheduling of the ordering session but can take a minimum of 1+ weeks.

After your image selection and full payment receipt, I will begin performing the custom editing artwork on each image. I will then order the products and be ready for installation. This process can take 2+ weeks.

Can I purchase digital photos?

Yes, absolutely. You can purchase a digital file by itself but you should know that purchasing a print, album, or wall art allows you to have a digital copy also.

How long will I have access to my photos?

I do not delete client photos. I store them on an external hard drive that has an online backup. Should you wish to make additional purchases in the future, just reach out to me and I can make that happen.

If you purchase a digital image or receive one as part of your package, it will be delivered via an online gallery that will only be available for one month. You will need to make sure you log in and download the photo asap.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM A LIMITED EVENT SESSION

What is the difference between a full custom and limited event session?

A full custom session is personalized. We will take the time to plan your session and work together. The session will take up to 2 hours. All images are hand edited.

In a limited session, the designs are already preplanned with no customization. The session is only 10-15 minutes long. The images do not receive any editing and are exactly as they come out of the camera. 2-3 digital images are provided with the fee of the session.

Limited sessions are only available during published times and are not available upon request. Also, they are restricted to immediate family as there is no time nor space availability for extended family members.

Newborn photography cannot be provided in a limited session.

How do I book a limited session?

Limited sessions are booked online via a special event link.

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

For a limited session, alternate locations are not available. These are held either in studio or at a specific location.

How long does a typical photo session last?

A limited session is only 10-15 minutes. If you feel that you will need extra time, an additional session must be purchased.

Due to the nature of the back-to-back session, there is no time available to go over the limit.

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, a one-day rescheduled date will be made. If you cannot attend the date scheduled, the session fee will be refunded to you.

How long does it take to receive the final photos?

The online gallery will be made available within 1-2 weeks after the photoshoot. You will be able to download the number of photos allocated to your session with an option to purchase additional photos.

How long will I have access to my photos?

If you purchase a digital image or receive one as part of your package, it will be delivered via an online gallery that will only be available for one month. You will need to make sure you log in and download the photo asap.
